As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role is both armed and driving, requiring you to respond quickly to situations while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification is required for Texas roles.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors.
Assist with access control, verifying identities and permissions as required by site policies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related matters observed during patrols.
Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related issues and maintain a secure environment for employees and customers.
