About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Redmond, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response activities in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report discrepancies involving restricted areas, sensitive materials, or after-hours access.
  • Support Allied Universal post orders for an aero and defense location by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with site contacts, and escalating security-related concerns when appropriate.
