About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Chattanooga, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while adhering to protocols for government locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to established procedures.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate with team members to support a secure environment.
Carry out access control duties, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required for government facilities.
Document incidents and observations in detailed reports for review by Allied Universal and site management.
