You will conduct routine vehicle and on-foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and strong customer service. With an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license, you will contribute to a caring, people-first team that acts with integrity and delivers through teamwork.

Requirements

• Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Respond to alarms, disputes, medical calls, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; request additional resources such as law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
• Control access through designated entrances, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and support after-hours lock and/or unlock procedures per post orders.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and/or suspicious conditions in written reports and logs; communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
