As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and provide customer service to staff and visitors while supporting a professional, integrity-led team. This is an armed post requiring an armed guard card and a driving role requiring a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.81 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes as assigned, with working conditions varying by post.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification, verifying authorizations, and directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site personnel, and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed security-related reports and logs, including patrol activity, access control actions, and incident observations, and communicate status updates to supervision as needed.
