As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. This is a driving and armed post, requiring you to conduct routine patrols and respond promptly to situations as needed. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity or security-related concerns, reporting observations according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Support access control measures, including verifying credentials and/or inspecting vehicles as required.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and/or drills, following all site-specific protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and law enforcement as needed.
