About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Government in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must possess an active armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor the premises for any suspicious behavior and report observations as required by site protocols.
Interact with visitors, staff, and the public in a professional manner while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as per site requirements.
Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed according to site procedures.
Adhere to all site-specific rules and regulations, including those governing the carrying and handling of firearms.
