As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you monitor designated areas, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor access points and check credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and other required documentation.
Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to identify potential security-related concerns and report them appropriately.
Follow all Allied Universal protocols and guidelines while performing duties as an armed patrol officer.
