Job Description As a Security Officer Armed-Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Independence, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine mobile patrols and perimeter checks, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns with clear communication. Requirements

Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
Have an Armed Guard Card/License.
Have an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21+ Years of Age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, watching for unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-in, and directing traffic flow according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with site leadership, and contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required.
Document security-related activities, incidents, and patrol findings in written reports and electronic logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
