About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver, Clearance Required in OLDSMAR, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-profile aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer supporting mission-focused operations. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle to cover assigned areas and respond to calls for service with professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
Control access at designated entry points by checking identification and/or credentials, managing visitor logs, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, documenting details, and assisting with scene control as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify unusual conditions for reporting.
Complete timely reports and logs for patrol activity, access control actions, and incidents, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.
