About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver, Clearance Required in OLDSMAR, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-profile aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer supporting mission-focused operations. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle to cover assigned areas and respond to calls for service with professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
  • A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification and/or credentials, managing visitor logs, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, documenting details, and assisting with scene control as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify unusual conditions for reporting.
  • Complete timely reports and logs for patrol activity, access control actions, and incidents, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.
