About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and communicate with personnel regarding access-related questions or issues.
Support security-related operations at an aerospace and defense location by observing sensitive areas, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or policy compliance concerns.
