Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and support screening of visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site post orders for a defense-related location.
Carry authorized armed equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and post instructions, maintaining professional conduct and readiness throughout the shift.
