As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing customer service is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual conditions or activities according to site protocols.
- Carry and responsibly manage authorized firearms while on duty, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
- Support site operations by documenting and communicating all incidents, observations and/or concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and/or contractors to address questions or provide assistance as needed.
