About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed CRE Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a commercial real estate location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess Act 235 qualification if applying in Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including both the building and its perimeter.
Monitor for and report any suspicious activity to help to deter potential issues within the location.
Maintain awareness of surroundings while on patrol to support a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.
Follow all protocols for armed personnel as required by Allied Universal and the location's specific guidelines.
Complete thorough and accurate incident and daily activity reports as required.
