As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as needed.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with tenants, guests, and staff at the commercial real estate location.
Follow all site-specific protocols, including those related to access control, incident reporting, and emergency procedures.
Carry and responsibly handle approved firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
