Requirements

Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
Armed Guard Card or License required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns in and around the location.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all activities, incidents, and security-related occurrences while on duty.
Comply with all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements specific to armed posts within financial institution locations.
