As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence at financial institution locations. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain order.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and security-related activities as required by site policies.
Interact with visitors, employees, and/or vendors in a courteous and professional manner, addressing questions or concerns as needed.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times during patrols and while stationed at designated posts.
Carry and responsibly handle an assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
