As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Requirements

  • A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • A valid armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid corrections officer license is required.
  • A valid law enforcement officer license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any observations as required.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Interact with employees, visitors, and/or customers in a courteous manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following all Allied Universal and client procedures.
