About The Position

Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Interact with employees, visitors, and/or vendors in a professional manner while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and granting entry as required by site guidelines.
Remain alert to surroundings and communicate any suspicious behavior or activity to the appropriate authorities or site management.
