As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Patrol in Oxon Hill, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and assist with entry and exit procedures as required.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Work closely with location staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential threats or disruptions.
Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific instructions for armed patrol posts.
