As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond quickly to situations as they arise. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect assets within the financial institution environment.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or policy violations to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Maintain awareness of the surroundings and communicate any concerns or incidents promptly and accurately.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and credentials when necessary.
Follow established protocols for handling armed situations, maintaining readiness to respond appropriately to threats or emergencies.
