As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, offer exceptional customer service, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or adult corrections experience or possess.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at financial institution locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining a professional presence as an armed officer.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior within the financial institution environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access or activities, following all Allied Universal protocols.
Interact with clients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance or information as needed.
Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, patrols, and observations.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related threats using appropriate de-escalation and response techniques as required for an armed post.
