As an Armed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and property staff while representing Allied Universal with integrity. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entry points and controlled areas, verify credentials, direct foot and vehicle traffic, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site policy.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, preserving information and evidence when required and turning in reports per Allied Universal and site guidelines.
