You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. Requirements

• Have 2+ years' law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a commercial real estate setting.
• Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies, applicable laws, and required training and/or qualification standards.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter routes, looking for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and local public agencies as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, monitor cameras and/or access points when assigned, and communicate observations and incident updates to supervisors and site contacts.
