You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, and you will support the team with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be a graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have 2+ years' Law Enforcement/Military/Corrections Experience.
• Have a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders and applicable laws and/or regulations, maintaining proper care, control, and accountability of issued equipment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordination with clinical staff and local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and building perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment.
• Complete security-related reports and document observations, incidents, and corrective actions, and communicate pertinent information to oncoming personnel and site leadership.
