As a Security Officer - - Armed Manufacturing Site - Full Time in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a prominent manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct regular unarmed patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Possess an active and valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees at the location, maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal standards and client requirements.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or law enforcement as necessary during incidents or emergency response situations.
Remain aware of site-specific hazards that may be present within a manufacturing and industrial environment and report any hazards or irregularities appropriately.
