Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Site - Full Time in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity.
Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by the location's policies.
Monitor for potential hazards or suspicious behavior and report findings to the appropriate parties.
Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or theft through visible presence and attentive patrols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with location staff and/or management to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
