As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals you encounter. Requirements

At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and/or disruptions.
Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures.
Support law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents at the location.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols related to armed patrol duties.
