As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol in Mansfield, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and unusual activity with calm, professional communication. You will build trust through customer service, detailed reporting, and teamwork, living our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture and integrity in every interaction. Level III Armed Certification Texas required.
Requirements
- Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post at an industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notification of site leadership, and coordination with public emergency services when directed.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or removal of property.
- Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
