Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This armed post involves conducting routine patrols and responding to situations as they arise, while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a Level III armed certification for Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
A baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any unusual activities or security-related incidents as required.
Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
Engage with the public in a professional manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
Support emergency response efforts and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when appropriate.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
