As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes responding to incidents, delivering outstanding customer service, and upholding a caring and reliable environment. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential threats, and/or hazards within the retail or mall environment.
Interact with visitors, employees, and/or vendors to provide assistance and uphold site-specific protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
