As an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and an armed guard card or license. Requirements

• Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of the interior and exterior, including lobbies, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor alarms, access control points, and camera systems when assigned, and document unusual activity and/or potential hazards per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, incident reporting, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and perform required checks of issued equipment and/or post materials in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
