About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Mall Driver in Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This armed and driving role allows you to interact with the public, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members. Requirements

Possess a current armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other disruptive behaviors.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and visitors while upholding Allied Universal's standards for security-related operations.
Remain alert and prepared to use authorized equipment as an armed security professional, following all applicable laws and company policies.
