Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
You must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
An active Department of Defense Confidential Clearance is required.
You must be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients at government locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report suspicious behaviors or incidents, documenting details accurately for follow-up.
Interact professionally with members of the public, staff, and visitors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor for compliance with site regulations.
Support law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents at the location.
