Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at government locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, and/or suspicious activities according to established protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents and emergencies.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential threats or security-related breaches.
