About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Real Estate Patrol in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and tenants, and respond to various situations with professionalism. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Collaborate with property management, tenants, and/or visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, alarms, and/or requests for assistance throughout the location.
