About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Institution Patrol in Monroe, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

Must have a valid drivers license
Law enforcement or miliary experience
Must be 21+ years old
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed for incidents occurring on or near the premises.
Operate and maintain any assigned security-related equipment, including radios and access control devices, in accordance with site procedures.
Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
Remain alert to unusual circumstances or potential threats within the location, reporting findings to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as needed.
