As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed posts.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business interior and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
Assist with controlling access to restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding all incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
Remain prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents that may require an armed security-related response.
