As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol in Centennial, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in controlling access to the facility, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as necessary during emergency and/or security-related situations.
