As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required as mandated by the client.
At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate, in a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and to monitor for unusual activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency responders as needed during incidents or drills to support the overall security-related needs of the location.
Uphold the professional standards of Allied Universal while interacting with all individuals on the premises.
