About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Bradenton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and enhance security-related presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary during incidents and/or emergencies.
Operate communication devices and security-related equipment in accordance with site policies and procedures.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to identify potential security-related concerns or hazards.
Follow all company protocols and guidelines as an Allied Universal representative while on duty.
