About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Tillery, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
At least six months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate with site personnel as needed to support security-related operations.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
Follow post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management and site leadership.
Operate and carry a firearm in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.
