About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location, including building interiors and perimeters, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site policies.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary, following established procedures.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
