About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location, including building interiors and perimeters, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site policies.
Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary, following established procedures.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
