Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Morganton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while upholding the highest standards of customer service and communication. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
- Monitor for potential security-related risks and report any suspicious activity or incidents according to established protocols.
- Interact with visitors, staff, and/or contractors in a courteous manner while enforcing access control procedures as required by the location.
- Prepare detailed and timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
- Support law enforcement and emergency response personnel as needed during critical situations or incidents.
