Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support operations at the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
Communicate and collaborate with local staff and/or law enforcement as needed to support security-related operations.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
Remain alert and observant to recognize and address potential issues within the government facility environment.
