As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Blanch, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support operations at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
  • Communicate and collaborate with local staff and/or law enforcement as needed to support security-related operations.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
  • Remain alert and observant to recognize and address potential issues within the government facility environment.
