As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned locations and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor for and report any security-related irregularities or incidents according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and managing entry to restricted areas as required.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents as directed by site policies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies or threats in a government environment.
