As a Front Desk Security Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Provide one of the following: a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree or at least 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.
Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and credentials, assisting with visitor management, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Assist with emergency response activities, including communicating with building management and first responders when appropriate.
Support Allied Universal in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries or direct individuals as appropriate.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and any concerns to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
