You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will document observations, support staff and visitors with customer service, and work as part of a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and always acts with integrity.
Requirements
- Security Experience ‐ 2+ Years is required.
- 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience is required.
- 21+ Years of Age is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical emergencies, and alarms, and request additional assistance as needed.
- Control access to the facility and restricted areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help manage orderly entry, exit, and queue flow during high-traffic periods.
- Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in reports and logs, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision as required.
