As a Front Desk Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will greet and assist visitors, manage access and badging, answer phones, and document security-related activity with clear, professional communication. This is an armed post requiring an armed guard card/license. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, a people-first mindset, and strong teamwork while staying agile, reliable, and innovative in supporting daily operations.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a media and technology location.
  • Control access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests, employees, and/or vendors according to site procedures.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and building systems from the front desk and report irregular conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and/or suspicious activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
  • Complete detailed reports, maintain visitor and key logs, and communicate shift activity and security-related concerns to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
