As an armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. You will complete routine rounds, check access points, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have security experience ‐ 1+ years.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazardous conditions to be reported.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials, and manage authorized entry for employees, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or public responders when required.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document patrol observations and incident details, and communicate shift activity to the next officer and/or site contacts.
